Lisa Kudrow plays the role of Phoebe Buffay, who is a self proclaimed guitarist and is adamant on composing songs that touch the realities of life. But, inspite of these noble efforts, her lyrics managed to get gasps from the audience, as seen in one of episodes of Friends, where she plays a couple of self-composed songs for the children present at Central Perk. After the performance, the parents complain about her lyrics and the effect of the lyrics on the children. Phoebe is portrayed as a carefree individual, who is a staunch supporter of the two love stories seen in the show (Ross-Rachel & Chandler-Monica). In the latter episodes, Phoebe strikes a chord with Mike Hannigan, played by Paul Rudd. Their first meeting blossoms into love and in the ending episodes of the final season, Phoebe finally gets married to Mike. An odd couple indeed. But then, who are we to comment on a perfect love!
